Culture with no barrier to entry
Entry is pay-what-you-can: everyone gives what they can. Nobody is left at the door for lack of money, equipment or a diploma.

« at home »
ALADAR was founded by young artists from a wide range of backgrounds, cultures and practices. We offer a lively, warm and authentic space where everyone can create, share and exist as an artist.
A place where we meet to invent new, hybrid and undisciplined forms, just like Brussels: diverse, vibrant, unexpected.
our mission
An urgent need
Answering the lack of accessible spaces for young Brussels artists.
✗
Few opportunities
Few stages open up to people who are just starting out or have no network.
✗
Isolated disciplines
Encounters between dance, music, writing or video are rare.
✓
Social impact
Pay-what-you-can events open to everyone, ties within neighbourhoods, and a humanitarian cause supported at every Impro'Night.
So we created a creative home: a place to experiment freely, meet other artists, and regain confidence in your art and your place.
our social impact
Creating together also means caring together.
A first stage for young artists
Beginners and people without a network find a supportive audience and more experienced artists to guide them.
A humanitarian cause at every Impro'Night
Each edition highlights a cause and invites the audience to support it.
Ties within neighbourhoods
Avec les habitant·es, les maisons de jeunes et des partenaires comme Brussels Environment : l'exposition « Comme Thuis » au N22, les fresques collaboratives de Solid'Air.
